Job Title: Data Centre Engineering Lead

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Centre Engineering Lead to join our team in London. As a key member of our MEP division, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and maintenance of world-class data centres.

  • Design and Planning: Collaborate with senior engineers to contribute to the mechanical design of data centres, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
  • Project Support: Assist in project management tasks, such as creating project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses, calculations, and simulations to optimize data center performance and energy efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality control checks to ensure that all mechanical systems meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance: Participate in the development of maintenance strategies and procedures to ensure the ongoing reliability of data center equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Associate/Associate Director with a strong track record of client engagement, project management, mechanical delivery, and training junior members within the data centre industry.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters level.
  • Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Review, IES, and other design software.
  • Working knowledge of current building regulations with a strong understanding and passion to apply sustainable design principles.
