About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Improvement Specialist to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team, you will play a critical role in driving our business's HSE Annual Operating Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and design continual improvement programmes with the Head of HSE, ensuring they are well thought through and have the buy-in of various stakeholder groups.
  • Drive improvement programmes based on business unit-specific needs, inherent risk profile, incident experience, and organisational learning.
  • Support colleague-focused HSE forums and provide hands-on support to implement agreed HSE improvement programmes.
  • Provide proactive support to BU leaders to develop and execute action plans to deliver Safety Excellence.
  • Review HSE data streams to determine quality insights that can be used to reduce risk and improve safety.
  • Support the resolution of complex HSE problems and provide subject matter/technical support during Incident Review Boards.
