Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Radiology Department Team Lead to join our Imaging Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of radiographers and administrative staff, ensuring the effective operation of radiographic services. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
- Providing leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicating effectively with patients, referrers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors within the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will require:
- BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
- Postgraduate training and substantial work experience in MRI/CT/IR/Neuro.
- Experience in leadership and management, with a track record of improving service delivery.
Benefits: As a Radiology Department Team Lead at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, you can expect a competitive salary range of £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and access to employee assistance programs.
Salary: £45,500 per annum
