As a Consultant Psychiatrist at our esteemed Memory Clinic, you will be an integral part of a multi-professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to older adults in Hull and East Yorkshire. Our clinic provides Assessment and Diagnostic Services, working closely with nursing and psychology services to provide comprehensive support.
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team, who possesses excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing complex cases, formulating treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose complex psychiatric cases and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing and psychology services to provide comprehensive care
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions
To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong educational background, including an MB BS or equivalent medical qualification. Your experience in managing complex psychiatric cases and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is essential. Additionally, you must hold GMC registration and Approved Clinician status.
