Job Title: Risk and Compliance Analyst

Job Summary:

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the Operational Risk Framework and executing the control plan. This includes monitoring and reporting operational incidents, monitoring operational risks arising from outsourced activities, and preparing supporting documentation for risk-related topics.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Risk Framework:

  • Participate in the maintenance of the Operational Risk Framework, including mapping of operational processes, operational risk matrix, and control plans.
  • Monitor and report on operational incidents, including formalizing incident forms and assisting in identifying action plans.
  • Perform independent controls and monitor action plans relating to identified weaknesses.
  • Monitor daily alerts from the atypical transactions monitoring tool and prepare dedicated monthly reporting.

Risks Arising from Outsourced Activities:

  • Monitor and challenge risk indicators provided by service providers.
  • Liaise with service providers and their permanent control teams for relevant topics, including compliance and financial security.
  • Follow up on the implementation of action plans regarding operational incidents on outsourced activities.
  • Synthesize indicators at the appropriate level with the 'CASA UK Risk and Controls' committee or 'CASA UK ICC' committee.

Attendance to Local or HO Committees:

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will attend the CASA UK Risk and Control committee and the CASA UK Internal Control Committee. They will also assist the Chief Risk Officer in organizing and preparing these committees.

Requirements:

Minimal Education Level: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic Qualification / Speciality: Bachelor degree within a relevant discipline

Experience: Internal Audit, Permanent Control, Risk Management, Finance division of CA Group
