About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Linen Porter to join our Housekeeping team at Doubletree by Hilton Southampton. As a Linen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining linen control reports, recording linen abuse, and ensuring that all linen is counted correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain linen control reports and record any linen abuse
- Work to daily working schedules to ensure efficient linen management
- Ensure that all linen is counted correctly and identify any discrepancies on the daily control sheet
- Maintain security of linen room keys and the linen room while on duty
- Assist and be courteous to guests, displaying good customer care and social skills
- Deal with guest complaints or compliments and refer to senior management as needed
- Work in cooperation with other staff and management to ensure smooth hotel operations
