Job Summary:

We are seeking a Technology Operations Engineer to join our team at Oxford Ionics.

About the Role:

This role involves managing and maintaining our IT systems and network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and robust support for our quantum technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage system administration across various platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, devices, and hardware such as network switches, firewalls, and servers.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network services like VPN connectivity, routing, and vLANs while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with a wide range of IT systems and tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems (e.g. Ubuntu, Rocky) and hardware such as Dell PowerEdge Servers is highly desirable.
