We are partnering with a Local Authority in Lancaster to support the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1-month contract, with potential for extension at the client's discretion. To be considered, please submit your CV for immediate review.
Compensation: £14.78 per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize dispensary operations to minimize losses and ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure accurate handling and dispensing of all medicines, including NHS and private prescriptions
- Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as company standard operating procedures
- Contribute to the delivery of pharmacy services as needed
- Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines, including over-the-counter medication, to customers and patients
Qualifications and Experience:
- A NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed through a GPhC accredited route
- Experience working in a community pharmacy, preferably with experience using Pharmacy Manager software
Important Considerations:
- Availability to start immediately or on short notice
- Right to work in the U.K
- Basic DBS required
