We are partnering with a Local Authority in Lancaster to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1.5-month contract, with the possibility of extension at the client's discretion. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for pharmacy services, we encourage you to apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses
- Handle and dispense medicines accurately, including NHS and private prescriptions
- Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as Company SOPs
- Assist in delivering all pharmacy services where appropriate
- Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines, including OTC medication as required
- Deliver on all aspects of the Dispensing role, including ordering, labeling, dispensing, and endorsing with appropriate claims
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPhC accredited route
- Experience working in a community pharmacy, ideally with experience using Pharmacy Manager software
- Working NHS Smartcard

- You should be available to work immediately or at short notice
- You should have the right to work in the U.K
- This role requires a basic DBS
