Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Care and Support Worker to join our team at Reeson Education. As a key member of our wraparound care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children before and after school.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for planning and supervising activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, and developing positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the delivery of the breakfast and after-school club, ensuring all children are engaged in fun and educational activities.
• Supervise and support children during breakfast and after-school sessions, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring their safety at all times.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Help set up and tidy away equipment and resources, maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children in a similar setting is desirable.
• A relevant qualification in childcare or playwork is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to ensure the safety of all children.
