We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Bournemouth, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and serving of food to customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all food items are stored correctly and meet health and safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, with efficiency and safety.
- Help with stock control and restocking supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Assist with food waste management and recycling, contributing to a sustainable kitchen environment.
- Support the kitchen team with any other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is an advantage, but not essential.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred) to ensure a safe and healthy kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness to maintain high standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the kitchen team and provide excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
