Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Entry Level Special Needs Support Worker

Job Summary:

Protocol Education is seeking an entry-level teaching assistant to support children with special needs in a well-equipped and resourced school in the London borough of Barnet. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have the ability to inspire students to be active in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with special needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience working with children with special needs (desirable)
  • Ability to inspire students to be active in learning
