We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Resource Planner to join our team at RecruitME. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Train Planning & Resources Manager in delivering corporate objectives and contributing to the success of the overall Train Planning, Performance and Control processes.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of rail operations and the wider rail industry, with the ability to think analytically and strategically. You will be responsible for managing and measuring the financial element of the Performance Regime within the Track Access Agreement, ensuring claims for Service Variation and Cancellations are submitted in a timely manner, and identifying, resolving and signing off Trust Delay Attribution in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for regular liaison with Network Rail, Commercial Managers and other stakeholders to continually improve the product deliverables, undertaking the timely request for Network Rail NRSC certificate renewal, obtaining gauging quotations as required on behalf of Commercial for new routes, and developing Short-Term (STP) train plans as required which make best use of Rail Operations Group resources.
