We are working with a mainstream school in Dartford looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs. If you have experience working and/or supporting children with SEN, we would like to hear from you.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a teaching assistant in a supportive and inclusive environment, helping to make learning accessible for children. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with additional needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-to-one support to students, and contributing to the development of personalized learning plans.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with children with SEN, be passionate about making learning accessible, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of a DBS check or willingness to undergo one

Please note that the salary for this position is between £23,114 and £25,979 per annum, depending on experience, or £90 per day.
