Job Overview
Pertemps Manchester is seeking a reliable and energetic individual to fill the role of Delivery Driver. This opportunity involves transporting parcels to customers across various locations, working independently with minimal supervision. As part of our team, you will be responsible for sorting mail at the local delivery office, completing multi-drop parcel deliveries, and utilizing a hand-held computer device for capturing customer signatures.

About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys working alone as well as being part of a team, with a strong sense of community. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role and possess a full UK manual driving license. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in various weather conditions and enjoy being outdoors. With this job, you will have flexible working patterns and opportunities to stay fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver parcels to customers across various locations
• Sort mail at the local delivery office
• Complete multi-drop parcel deliveries using vehicles up to transit size
• Capture customer signatures using a hand-held computer device

What We Offer:
A competitive hourly rate of £13.37ph, which translates to an estimated annual salary of around £27,000-£30,000 based on a 35-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year. You will also receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
