**The Role**:
The role of the Logistics Operative is to pack product and process and organise order and shipping documentation, monitor and manage internal and external customer communication and ensure all record keeping is accurate. You will also be loading goods onto outbound courier vehicles.

**Your profile**:
Experience of working within a Logistical/Warehouse/Stores environment.
Comfort with Manual Handling.
Solid understanding of SAP.
Excellent attention to detail.
Working to the highest levels of health and safety.
Ability to demonstrate quality awareness.
Ability to communicate and work optimally in all levels within and outside of the organisation.
Organised and logical approach to work.
**Your responsibilities**:
To liaise with both colleagues and customers across all disciplines and at all levels.
To pack products safely and in line with guidelines.
Loading of goods to courier vehicles by use of forklift / pallet truck.
Monitor and initiate ordering of packing materials.
To create, check and prepare all despatch documentation.
To maintain accurate records of finished goods inventory and despatched goods.
To ensure the safe and timely delivery of all shipments.
To organise and co-ordinate the services provided by all external carriers.
To actively drive and support continual improvement activities, ideas, and suggestions to support Department Manager in developing department to better fit business needs.
To ensure that all duties are undertaken in a safe and professional manner.
Always work safely, complying with health and safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
Follow relevant instructions and be able to use effectively and efficiently relevant documentation and IT systems that support the logistics activities.
Have a detailed understanding of the end-to-end process for the receipt of goods, SAP, Mendix and courier booking systems.
To monitor and manage the department mailbox with regards to enquiries, queries and required responses.
Assist other departments within the business and act as points of contact for day-to-day activities.
Show excellent attention to detail.
Have a good working relationship with the following areas of the business.
