About the Role

Fugro is seeking a skilled Metocean Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting marine surveys, maintaining and testing Metocean equipment, and providing offshore client liaison. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work on projects for offshore wind farms, renewable energy, and oil & gas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct marine surveys and Metocean field engineering activities
  • Maintain, test, and prepare Metocean equipment
  • Deploy and recover Metocean equipment
  • Provide offshore client liaison

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous offshore experience on a variety of Metocean projects
  • Experience using Metocean equipment and proficient in setup and operation of commonly used sensors
  • Understanding of real-time data, data acquisition, and data QC
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Systematic and methodical approach with attention to detail
  • Good communication and language skills in English
  • Full driving license
