Job Description:

  • To assist the Head Chef in maintaining the company's reputation for food quality, planning, preparing, and cooking menu items as directed.
  • Assist in developing and planning menus, incorporating future food trends and new styles of service and concepts.
  • Maintain smooth kitchen operations, including stock management and preparation of desserts.
  • Provide excellent customer service, exceeding expectations, and being approachable and quick to respond to customer needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, demonstrating professionalism, and instructing Commis Chefs in food preparation and cooking skills.
  • Ensure accurate food ordering, stock control, deliveries, and wastage recording, adhering to company standards and health and safety policies.
  • Participate in training sessions, contribute to personal development, and maintain company values, serving as a positive ambassador for Holroyd Howe.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience as a Chef (preferred)
  • Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of food preparation, and presentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining high standards
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
