About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Designer to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience for our employees, driving business outcomes, and contributing to our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including OD Capability Partners, Training Leaders, and HR Business Partners, to design and deliver effective learning solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and brand-compliant learning content, leveraging a range of solution design options and technologies to create immersive and blended learning experiences.
  • Own the end-to-end refresh process of existing content, ensuring consistency, quality, and governance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve learning solutions and contribute to the company's innovation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in learning design, development, and delivery, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced working knowledge of content design, development, and deployment tools, including authoring, graphic design, and multimedia tools.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
