About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to join our team at Barlow Wood Ltd. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mortgage Advisers in the gathering of information for new applications and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive customer service through inbound and outbound communication, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Interact and provide updates to customers, lenders, and advisers as required, maintaining open and transparent communication channels.
  • Input and process mortgage applications and DIPs for advisers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry and record keeping.
  • Liaise with Lenders, 3rd parties, and advisers for updates, building strong relationships and understanding timescales, processes, and decision-making criteria.
  • Action tasks set to assist with the underwriting process, chasing valuations, and lenders, ensuring knowledge and understanding of checking documents and processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Financial Services sector, with a strong understanding of mortgage applications and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, lenders, and colleagues.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
