Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Salary and Benefits:
  • £11.92 to £14.17 per hour (42 hours per week)
  • Full-time and part-time positions available with varying shift patterns to support work-life balance
  • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
  • Enhanced DBS check and full training provided

About the Role:

The working day can be unpredictable, requiring flexibility, reliability, and adaptability. You will need to read situations effectively to help our young people make positive choices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working on a rota basis (average 160 hours per month) plus sleep-ins depending on the size of the home
  • Maintaining the needs of the children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations
  • Organising and facilitating social activities outside of school
  • Maintaining the home, including laundry, cleaning, and shopping
  • Attending and participating in team meetings
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • No prior experience required, but having life skills or experience with children/health and social care would be beneficial
