About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Dangerous Goods Training Instructor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments to our clients in the gas and chemical manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver mandatory regulatory training, including ADR and DCPC, to all full-time, agency, and contracted employees.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of distribution procedures to ensure compliance with company and market regulations.
- Develop and deliver training plans to meet the needs of our clients.
- Work cross-functionally to address safety concerns and identify high-risk drivers.
- Support driver teams as a subject-matter expert and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience and qualifications to deliver mandatory DVSA/SQA driver CPC and ADR training.
- A valid ADR Training Certificate (2, 3, 8 minimum, refreshed every 5 years).
- Proven track record in a safety-first environment with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Classroom training experience and good time management skills.
What We Offer:
- A permanent contract with a competitive annual salary of £50,000 - £54,000 DOE.
- A company car/car allowance due to required travel.
- A bonus scheme of up to 7% of salary based on overall business performance.
