The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in promoting a safe and healthy work environment for our clients' employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive safety inspections across multiple construction sites within the West Midlands region.
- Provide expert guidance and support to site teams on all aspects of health and safety compliance.
- Review and assess safe systems of work, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead thorough investigations into accidents or incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar health and safety role within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- In-depth technical knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards relevant to the construction sector.
- Proficiency in IT software, including report writing and data analysis tools.
Essential Certifications:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- CSCS Professional card.
- First Aid trained.
