We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our community outreach efforts, focusing on building relationships with local stakeholders and identifying opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with local communities and build partnerships with relevant organizations.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including statutory bodies, charities, and community groups.
  • Identify areas of need and develop initiatives to address them, working closely with our team and external partners.
  • Manage and supervise a small team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability in our operations.
  • Collaborate with our Treasurer to develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective financial management and planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform our programs and services.
  • Contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives, working closely with our Board of Trustees to ensure alignment with our strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English – Grade C and above.
  • Experience in charity sector work, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable individuals.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
