Senior Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at a tier 1 well-respected construction company. This role is specialising in the Healthcare, Laboratory projects division and offers the progression into a Project Director Role.

Their Healthcare/Labs division delivers bespoke projects for hospitals, research labs, and medical facilities, with a strong focus on cutting-edge innovation and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure robust quality systems are in place, and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
  • Manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
  • Manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
  • Manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges and mitigations.
  • Support the long term development of your function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
  • Create opportunity for our people to excel:
    • Lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
    • Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes.
    • Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
    • Commercial and financial acumen.
    • Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
    • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes.
  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.

What We Offer:

Contract Details:

The fit out works for a new HQ for a multinational specialist manufacture, the project includes laboratories, ISO clean rooms and a high end office facilities with a moderns and distinguish design. Contract Value of the project is £40M.
