At Kerry, we are seeking a skilled Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $70,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of raw materials and packaging items in line with our production schedule.

This includes:

  • Calling off required raw materials and packaging items based on production plans while adhering to centrally defined inventory policies;
  • Creating purchase orders on SAP with approved suppliers;
  • Identifying and expediting missing material shortages to meet production planning requirements;
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels and managing safety stock levels to ensure no risk to supply but at most cost-effective method for site.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound 2nd level academic qualifications (GCSE's or equivalent) including key subjects Mathematics and English;
  • Proficient numerical ability to record, interpret, and analyze key process data;
  • SAP experience is an advantage;
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools particularly Excel;
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working in a procurement/purchasing role within a manufacturing environment.
