As an Education Director at Veolia, you will play a pivotal role in driving frontline services within a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, from 6am-3pm. This position comes with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the frontline team, ensuring driver compliance and maintaining high standards of performance
  • Monitor Health and Safety (H&D) behavior and promote safe practices across the team
  • Coach and mentor new starters, while retraining existing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Record attendance, complete Return to Work forms, and manage holiday and leave requests efficiently
  • Report and record accidents and vehicle incidents, contributing to a safer working environment

Requirements:

  • Local geographical knowledge to effectively understand community needs
  • Experience with waste management systems to drive efficient operations
  • Local authority client experience to build strong relationships
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders
  • Good IT skills to leverage technology for seamless operations
  • IOSH Passport Training or equivalent to demonstrate health and safety expertise
