The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is seeking an experienced Carpenter/joiner/handyman/maintenance expert to support our mission of conservation and education. As a Wildlife Habitat Builder, you will design, construct, and maintain bird exhibits that promote learning and appreciation for wildlife.
Key Responsibilities- Create and refurbish bird pens, breeding facilities, and other wooden features.
- Operate workshop machinery to produce nest boxes, transport crates, shelters, and housing.
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment, with desirable electrical qualifications.
- Practical expertise in DIY and carpentry.
- Familiarity with workshop machinery and electrical systems.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Competitive salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum.
