Job Description: Night Care Assistant

Venn Group is seeking a dedicated and caring Night Care Assistant to join our team in Cambridge. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with mental health needs, ensuring their safety and well-being during nighttime hours.

About the Role:
This full-time position involves working night shifts, covering 8pm to 8am, on a 4-day rotation. You will be based in Cambridge, working within our supported housing services. The role requires you to provide a high level of support to residents, dealing with mental health crises as they arise. You will also be responsible for controlling access to the building, monitoring CCTV systems, and undertaking regular patrols to ensure resident safety.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualised support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being* Deal with mental health crises, using your knowledge and skills to de-escalate situations* Maintain accurate records of incidents and concerns, reporting them to senior staff as necessary* Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of support services* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge* Estimated Salary: Approximately £29,000 per annum, based on a 37-hour week, with pay increasing to £30,100 after 6 months
