**Certification Engineer Role:** Explosion-Proof Equipment Specialist
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annumSGS United Kingdom Limited is seeking a skilled Certification Engineer to specialize in the assessment and certification of explosion-proof equipment. This role requires expertise in IEC60079 series Standards and ability to work with manufacturers or their agents.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough assessments of electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with Ex Standards.
- Preparation of detailed assessment reports, certification documents, and examination results.
- Effective communication with manufacturers or their agents to clarify assessment, testing, and certification requirements.
- Advanced degree-level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience in the certification of electrical and mechanical equipment according to Ex Standards.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant technical documentation and procedure documents.
