Senior Lifting Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lifting Engineer to join our team at the GAP Group Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of lifting and working at height equipment. This includes site-based work, where you will inspect and test equipment, produce reports, and provide certification.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspection, testing, and maintenance of lifting and working at height equipment
  • Proof load testing on equipment such as runway beams, davit sockets, swing jibs, and lift shaft eyes
  • Providing customers with bespoke solutions to lifting-based queries
  • Maintaining the hire fleet, upskilling members of the team, and supporting the lifting depot network

Qualifications and Experience

  • Manufacturer and industry training (e.g., CSCS, IPAF, Confined Space, Working at Height, PASMA)
  • Competent in accordance with LOLER
  • Valid driving license
