About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Sungardening. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our garden maintenance teams and ensuring that our high-end residential gardens are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and time standards are met
  • Proactively manage the maintenance teams, reports, and communication
  • Supervise and execute general garden maintenance, including mowing, pruning, mulching, irrigation, and pre-planting area preparations
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment
  • Cover and support teams during annual leave and/or sick leave as required
  • Ensure all team leaders are adequately equipped
  • Schedule and conduct team meetings
  • Enforce Health and Safety procedures
  • Attend and report in fortnightly management meetings
  • Resource and schedule adjustments
  • Ensure lockups are kept tidy, safe, and well-stocked
  • Plan, price, and supervise small landscape improvement projects
Requirements
  • Experience in high-end residential Garden Maintenance/Soft Landscaping and a Management/Team Leader role
  • Basic First aid or greater
  • Desirable: RHS Level 2 or equivalent
  • Desirable: PA1 & PA6 Spraying certificates
  • Desirable: Horticulture qualification or certificate
  • Driving license
