Job Title: Commercial Garden Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Operative to join our team at Oxford Garden Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of our clients' gardens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the health of plants and green spaces
  • Water and feed plants, trim trees and shrubs, and fertilize lawns
  • Weed gardens and keep green spaces clear of debris and litter
  • Install and maintain seasonal plants, mulch, edge, and prune trees and bushes
  • Deal with pest problems and maintain the overall health of plants

Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience as a Gardener or in a related field
  • Familiarity with landscaping design and regional plant life
  • Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them, as well as synthetic and natural fertilizers
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for long periods of time
