We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at an excellent Secondary School in Lambeth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of hardworking, determined, and inclusive staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Assist small groups with learning and development through sensory activities, promoting social and emotional growth.
  • Offer one-to-one support to young people in terms of their wellbeing and mental health, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and abilities.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, long-term position, Monday to Friday, with a competitive daily rate of £105-£110. The ideal candidate will be a team player, committed to delivering high-quality support and care to our students.
