About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team in Dudley Cancer Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to patients receiving cancer care in Dudley.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention to patients with complex cancer-related psychological needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and education programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in Applied Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist.
  • Experience working in a physical health setting and multi-disciplinary team working.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice relevant to the role and risk assessment and risk management.
