Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Douglas House, a CQC-rated outstanding service. As a leading health and social care provider, we take pride in delivering high-quality services to support individuals with severe and enduring mental health issues.
In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop therapeutic relationships with service users, helping them to develop coping strategies and skills for independent living.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with service users to support their mental health and well-being.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support.
• Support service users in developing coping strategies and skills for independent living.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of service user interactions.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
• Health and social care experience or qualification is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
