About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Band 8a Mental Health Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and support to junior staff members
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients with a range of mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of mental health services through research and quality improvement projects
  • Support the Head of Nursing-Mental Health to deliver parity of esteem for mental health patients in an acute hospital setting
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration: Mental Health Registered Nurse
  • MSc qualification or equivalent
  • Alcohol, smoking, and substance misuse qualification
