Senior Mental Health Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to lead our multi-disciplinary team in delivering high-quality care to patients in a secure environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health care to patients
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health) qualification
  • Proven experience in mental health care, preferably in a secure environment
  • Strong leadership and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
