Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Description:

We are assisting a well-established professional services business in recruiting for a HR Coordinator to join the team. This is a 1-year fixed contract, likely to extend or go permanent, starting early January 2025.

This role is ideal for candidates looking for a career in HR with minimum one year's generalist exposure across the employee life cycle.

The hybrid role involves 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home (with flexibility). Reporting into the HR Business Partner and providing support to approximately 260 employees, the focus of the role is to provide generalist HR support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into HR Business Partner and working as part of a team of 6.
  • Providing HR support to approximately 260 employees, including dealing with HR queries and being the first point of contact.
  • HR administration including onboarding, offboarding, updating HR systems, organizing HR meetings, and L&D administration.
  • Supporting the business with HR best practices, HR policies and processes, and compliance with employment law.
  • Coordinating recruitment activities, including booking interviews, sending out interview packs, and letters.
  • Managing and updating the HR system, including maintaining records and producing monthly HR reports.
  • Supporting with L&D activities, including administration and updating training plans.
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies.
  • Ad-hoc HR projects and supporting the HR team with all aspects of HR.

Requirements:

Candidates will need to have exposure within a busy HR team and ideally be studying towards CIPD. There is scope to develop and take on more responsibility, with progression into a HR Advisor role.

The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, be enthusiastic, and able to work on their own initiative.
