Support Staff for Autism Students

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced support staff member to join our team at a good-rated school in the Penn area. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children, allowing them to succeed to the best of their ability.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Autism Spectrum Condition children and a good knowledge of SEN. They will be able to commit to working with a designated group of students, developing and implementing Individual Education Plans, Risk Assessments, and Personal Care and Therapy Care programmes.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide the best possible support for the students. They will establish therapeutic relationships with the students and interact with them according to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to create and deliver activities
- Develop a holistic approach to meeting the students' needs
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans and Risk Assessments
- Work with teachers, other support staff, families, and external agencies to provide the best possible support
