About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Renal Unit at St George's Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with kidney failure, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing individualized care to patients with renal failure, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing procedures as required.
- Collaborating with the renal team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
- Participating in the management of the ward, including taking charge and contributing to decision-making.
- Developing and maintaining skills in renal nursing, including dialysis and transplantation.
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse (General) with a minimum of 12 months post-registration experience.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to individual needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Computer literate and able to use electronic patient records.
