About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at CMS. As a key member of our Finance Business Partner team, you will play a critical role in supporting our leadership teams with accurate, timely, and insightful financial planning advice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Annual planning and budgeting: Collaborate with leadership teams to develop and implement annual budgets and financial plans.
  2. Quarterly reforecasting: Provide regular financial updates and reforecasting to ensure the business is on track to meet its strategic goals.
  3. Executive Reporting: Present financial information to senior management at regular business review meetings.
  4. Long-term strategic reviews: Conduct reviews of offices and teams to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
Business Partnering
  1. Serving as a liaison between the Partnership and Finance department.
  2. Providing financial expertise and support to leadership teams and partners.
  3. Financial mentoring and training: Support newly promoted partners and laterals with financial guidance and training.
  4. Engage with wider Finance projects/initiatives.
Financial Analysis
  1. Enabling practice groups and regions to achieve their objectives through effective financial analysis.
  2. Delivery of monthly finance MI with insightful commentary and analysis.
  3. Monitoring performance against long-term strategic and short-term operational plans.
  4. Conducting thorough annual financial reviews.
Requirements
  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified with a minimum 4 years post-qualified experience.
  • Advanced MS Office suite user (particularly Excel).
  • A continuous improvement mentality to support development of self, colleagues, and business processes.
