Job Description

Bay View Childcare is a leading provider of residential care services, dedicated to supporting the needs of young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Youth Care Professional for Residential Homes to join our team.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £24,000 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £28,000 per annum with sleep-in shifts. Our residential homes provide a safe, secure and supportive environment for young people aged 10-18, where they can receive guidance, encouragement and support to achieve their full potential.

As a Youth Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional and psychological well-being. You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that each resident receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide outstanding care and support to residents, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • To develop and implement individual care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • To contribute to a positive and inclusive living environment, fostering a sense of community and belonging among residents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma Level qualification in Working with Children & Young People or equivalent.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable young people.
