About the Role

As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of optical sensing systems from concept definition to production. This includes managing the development of processes and tooling for semi-automated manufacturing, as well as working with optics, optical packaging, and electronic manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of optical sensing systems, including concept definition, proof-of-concept, and optimization
  • Manage the development of processes and tooling for semi-automated manufacturing
  • Work with optics, optical packaging, and electronic manufacturing
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including welding, brazing, bonding, polishing, and etching
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and production
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in development and/or production
  • Man management or mentoring experience
  • Strong technical and practical understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with optics, optical packaging, or electronic manufacturing
