Dining Services Manager

At Avery Healthcare, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and experiences for our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Supervisor.
About the RoleAs a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality dining services. Your focus will be on supporting the Hospitality Manager in delivering customer care and service in a consistent manner, while also ensuring that all Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to within your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities will include:
- Liaising regularly with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to ensure that all hydration and nutritional needs are met.
- Supporting and delivering all catering services throughout the home, ensuring that resident choice, dignity, confidentiality, and safety are maintained.
- Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas throughout the home that is in line with the residents' preferences.
- Liaising with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to provide imaginative and interesting themes for special events.
- Ensuring that staff are trained, supervised, and appraised accordingly.
To be successful in this role, you will need to embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations.
- Previous experience in team leadership in a similar role.
- Compassion, commitment, and leadership to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
- Experience of working in a similar setting, such as a restaurant or hotel.
- Relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food and Hygiene or Catering Services.
