Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a National Manufacturing business in Edmonton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance work.
  • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum focus is given to the nominated production area.
  • Fault find in an effective and efficient manner while utilizing the various machines' historic/information documentation.
  • Establish harmonious relations with operational staff and work flexibly with them.
  • Carry out Root Cause Analysis techniques to improve machine reliability.
  • Ensure that machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard.
  • Pro-actively reduce engineering downtime and continuously improve the process and the department.
Requirements
  • Completed a Timeserved engineering apprenticeship.
  • Background in FMCG/Food Manufacturing is a distinct advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on Conveyors, Process/Packaging Equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to plan and organize efficiently.
