Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Our client, Gravity Recruit Limited, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the North London region.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing planned and reactive assistance to clients' properties for general maintenance work and to carry out mini refits to stores.

The role will involve working mainly within London and the South of England, with occasional travel to other parts of the country, including overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and be flexible with their approach to multi-site management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general maintenance, joinery, basic plumbing, and minor electrical works to clients' stores and corporate offices.
  • Emergency response and larger property projects such as refits, setting up new stores, and assisting external contractors.
  • Some out-of-hours work will be required.
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance or shopfitting role.
  • Experience carrying out general maintenance, including changing locks, basic plumbing, and re-lamping.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Previous experience of shopfitting.
  • Experience of painting and decorating.
  • Electrical certification.
  • Understanding of asbestos.
Package:

£36,500 + package + benefits + FEFF; Van.
