Key Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, system checks, and statutory tests to ensure the control system's effectiveness and compliance.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to on-site technicians, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to operate and maintain automated systems.
- Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with specialists to identify areas for system improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training and Development: Coach employees on standard systems operation, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Software Management: Manage software updates and backups, ensuring systems remain up-to-date and secure.
- Client Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Knowledge Sharing: Engage with on-site technicians for knowledge sharing and development, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- After-Hours Support: Provide After-Hours Breakdown Support as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant Engineering degree or trade qualification.
- Mine Site Experience: Mine site experience and understanding of mining operations.
- Technical Expertise: Auto-electrical experience and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical faults and PLC systems.
- Mobile-Plant Maintenance: Understanding of mobile-plant maintenance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Deliver accurate documentation and technical reports.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication in client-facing situations.

A clear pre-employment medical screen (which includes D & A testing), and background check is a non-negotiable requirement of employment.
