Specialist Pharmacist – Cancer and Aseptic Services B7

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Pharmacist to join our team in Cancer and Aseptic Services. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-focused clinical pharmacy services to patients with haematology and oncology conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients with haematology and oncology conditions, including the provision of chemotherapy and other high-risk medications.
- Work closely with the Cancer Services team to deliver a specialist pharmacy service to patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatments.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services, including the development of guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in the Cancer and Aseptic Services on-call and out-of-hours service on a rotational basis.
- Undertake teaching and clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and other healthcare employees.
- Engage in quality improvement and practice research projects.

Requirements- Relevant post-registration experience as a pharmacist in the UK.
- Proven knowledge and skills in clinical pharmacy, including the provision of chemotherapy and other high-risk medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
