Specialist Pharmacist – Cancer and Aseptic Services B7

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Specialist Pharmacist – Cancer and Aseptic Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient-focused clinical pharmacy services to patients with haematology and oncology conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist clinical pharmacy services to haematology and oncology in-patients, day case and outpatients.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services in haematology and oncology.
- Work closely with the cancer services pharmacy team to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to aseptic services and cancer care.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on aseptic services and cancer care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in aseptic services and cancer care.
- Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Non-medical prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake this when requested.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent, PTQA (must have certificate level).
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or working towards equivalent qualification PTQA.
- Practice Supervisor Qualification.
- Further clinical, research or management qualification.
- Current registration with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
- Member of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) or equivalent pharmacist specialist interest group.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels.
- Time management skills.
- Demonstrate potential management ability.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of financial issues.
